my old boot sprung a leak and grease was flying all over my inner fender, since i became a little short on cash, i have to wait till THIS friday to get paid, not sure ho my bearings are, buuuut better safe than sorry
god it feels good taking responsibility for my car,

So we all know that the supercharged engines need the intake bypass valve so they work in reverse. Otherwise the supercharger would just suck all the air out of the cylinder. So knowing that, how does the turbocharged version work in reverse? The engine is trying to suck air backwards, yet the turbo wants to spin forward so I don't see how it works.

Yeah just do the boot... if you caught the tear early, your bearings will be fine.

the thing is i have no idea how long it has been torn, doesnt seem like theres any more grease left in the boot and we had alot of rain, and the roads i take home arent exactly the cleanest, chances are, it ot plenty of dirt and water in it,

better safe than sorry, if i caught it earlier, i would replace the boot myself. but i dont want happening to me what happened with my freind and his old Oldsmobile (bearing broke as he pulled out of the driveway, so his whole tire and wheel and brakes came off, had to tow it away)
