Default Wheels from C240 fit on A4?

Just have a quick question.

I work at an Audi dealerhip, we took a 2005 Mercedes C240 4Matic in on trade with a nice set of aftermarket wheels on it. "Helo" was the brand name. Based on my research it looks like the factory offset on the C240 should have been 31. But that is certainly not a "confirmed" number. The wheels are 17X7.5. I am going to run 235-45-17 tires. Before going through the trouble of taking the wheels to a tire shop and buying the new tires I wanted to know if anyone knows for sure if they will work?

Oh, my car is a 99.5 2.8 Quattro

I figured out the bolt pattern is the same for both cars, 5X112. I just dont know for sure about the offset.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Can't you try to actually mount them on your car?

Default RE: Wheels from C240 fit on A4?

I would if I had access to the wheels yet. The C240 is on our used car lot with the wheels still on it. The manager agreed to give me the wheels off of it if I want them. He will have to buy a factory set to replace them with and before he pays for another set of rims for the C240 I wanted to check to see if anyone knows if they would fit. Its probably best to leave the work car at home tomorrow and just bring my A4 to work and swap out one wheel to see if it fits. My only other concern is that even if I bolt the wheel up I still wont know if it will rub because the current tires on the wheels are 205-40-17's. They look absolutely retarded on the car because the tires are WAY too small. After I put the right size tires on they might rub. Who knows? I will have to chance it
