Default My ride always keep on alarming for no reason

I got my 1999.5 audi a4 and it kept on alarming even my remote is like 15 ft away from me and nobody touches my car and it got alarmed... why?? and it tends alarm in ocean city, md.. so i decided to drive it back to DC and never got any problems.. so i went back to Ocean city, it got problem again... Why???

Are your windows rolled down when this happens? I've got a 2000 and the same thing happens to me but only when I leave my window cracked, I think the wind funneling through the crack creates enough force to trigger the alarm.

Yeah, i think thats a reason why it kept on alarming... since i always close my windows when i am in washington, dc but here... Thanks, dude..

Not sure if you guys have this feature, but on the driver's door pillar is a button that lets you turn off the inside motion sensors. It's next to the "trunk lid" button and if you push it, then close the door and lock the car it will temporarily disable the motion sensors. With the windows open, the motion sensors will get tripped unless you push that button first.

I used to have the same problem until I figured out what that button was for.
