after 3 weeks and a crap load of money later i finally have my car back and running!!! i put the new motor in today(one long a$$ day lemme tell you) and got to drive my car home for the first time in 3 weeks. the motor went in basically without a hitch and its running GREAT!!! its a brand new motor that had 0 miles on it, now it has about 20, by tommrow probably 200 and thats only cause im too broke for more gas then that. the motor has fully built internals and some head work. the car sounds totally different and i love it.
ALSO!!! my speed tuning chip FINALLY started to work!!! only 6 months after i installed it. i dont know what it was that made it start working but im happy as hell that it is. im boosting about 20lbs and it feels great. i havent gotten to do real hard pull on it yet cause i have to break the motor in but i can tell its wayyy different.
i cant get the smile off my face right now im so happy. ill have pics of it soon!!

what do you mean your chip finally started working? so it was hiding itself for the new motor? got any pix of the install? i'm sure it would entertain a lot of us. if you don't ahve any pix you should be ashamed of yourself and go sit in a corner

yeah i dont kno how the chip wasnt working before, and why its working now, but im glad it finally started. i didnt change anything about that but w/e im not gunna question it that much.
and i do have pics, but i am very old school and cant afford a digi cam right now so their on a disposable that i gotta get developed[&o]. i will post them as soon as i can. theres a few pics of the shaved door moldings and lowers also. i only took about 3 or 4 pics of the motor install cause you get a little carried away and forget about pics during a job like that.

i was going to, but since its boosting 20lbs thats where i wanted to be anyway so i think im gunna leave it. next mod is by far coils, i still have crazy wheel gap on my car.
