Loose Brake Pads
 

I have 2001 A6 2.7T. There is metallic clicking sounds when Coming to a stop, when I get down to about 10-15mph. I have checked all the control arms and they seem ok. I did find that there is about 1/8 inch slack in the front brake pads. I replaced the rotors and pads about 5k miles ago. Is the slack normal. Also the calipers seem to slide pretty easy back and forth.
