Hi Guys, I am new to Audis and need your help identifying headlight type. Is it xenon or halogen? Thanks for your help

I think it's halogen but I could be wrong. I believe the Xenon headlamps were gray on the inside. I have Xenon and mine are gray on the inside.

My Xenon's look like that, turn em on, if they seem to flicker like a fluorescent and are blue-ish, they are Xenon. If they come on like your high beams (Which are Halogen), which seem to fade on and off, and are Yellowish, they are Halogen.

Also, Xenons are *instant* off, Halogens seem to fade off.

I think thats the Halogen headlight. Why are u asking though? u wanna upgrade to HID?

Thanks for your help guys. I want to buy this car, but forgot to check if it has xenons when I looked at it. I will check it out next time I see it.

The easiest way to tell if you're actually looking at the car is to turn them on. You should also pop the hood and look inside.
