Default Exhaust work gains; what's the diameter of stock piping?

I'm trying to decide if its worth it to spend $1100 on the APR catback, or significantly less (around $450 for local shop) for new piping/mufflers.

What's the diameter of the oem pipes? Anyone?

i believe it's 2 1/4 inch.....if you can make your own setup for cheaper that's always best. I'm waiting for awe's quad setup.

Seriously? $1100 for a Cat Back exhaust??
For $1100 they better:

A: install it for me
B: made out of gold
C: Give me at least 50HP at the wheels..

I just had some Header exhsust installed on my big block 468 CI.. 3" duals w/ an X pile for $600.
$450 sounds a little high with single mandral bent 2.5"

Good Luck with the upgrade!
