Default Cost of a new clutch?

I'm wondering what a new clutch would generally cost and about how many miles do they go out?

Default RE: Cost of a new clutch?

not really mile dependent more on how it is driven...i spent around 900 on my spec stage 2+ with billet steel flywheel....also think of install cost which averages around 600-900 depending of local labor rates...i was quoted 800 for labor so i decided to do-it-myself...took awhile but worth me saving the cash

Default RE: Cost of a new clutch?

i had my clutch replaced recently. I go with the one in Ecstuning, stage 1.
I found a local shop that works on audis to put it on for me. they charged me 700 for labor.

I heard harder than TB. I did TB and it wasn't that bad, just annoying. I wouldn't want to do the clutch...

the timing belt is harder than the clutch IMO only reason being its harder to mess up doing a clutch than it is doing the timing belt....i had no problems untill i had to get the new belt back on and correctly but i know the secret that help me.....WATERPUMP TRICK worked twice
