Default changing spark plugs 01 TT 225 need help

I am getting ready to change the spark plugs on this car. I have a question about getting to the plugs.

First question.. how do you undo the clips on the black deals? The black deals that bolt to the motor. I have busted tons of these in the past becasue I cant figure out the manufactures combination.

2nd question... Do i need to take off the silver pipe that runs along the left side of the engine? Im guessing thats the pipe that goes to the turbo. At first glance it doesnt look like I can get those black deals off to get to the plug without removing this.

It also looks like on the right side I have a bunch of ingnition crap to get through... and tips on the right side?

It's easier than it looks. Everything is held down by about alan bolts. You'll need a 5mm alan wrench and a 10mm socket. Should take about 20 Mins.

Unplug the N249 connector. It is the small electrical connector going to what you call "the black deals". You will see itto the left of it. A small square connector with the electical wires going out plugging into the assembly near the canistor with the warning sticker on it.

Undo the bolt that holds the assembly down, unclip the hoses from their clips if needed. The whole assembly sits on a little slider bracket. Once that bolt is removed and hoses unclip slide it off the bracket and push it out of your way. Now remove the bracket itself...there are 4 or 5 alan bolts holding it on. You need to do this to get to packs 3 and 4.

Now you should be clear to unbolt the coil packs. Unplug the power connectors going to each pack. I found using a small flat head, with the packs unbolted (so the could move and give working room) was easier. I pulled the packs slightly towards me and "walked" the connectors off. When they did not want to budge a used the screw driver to help slightly pry them off being careful not to break the tabs. IT IS A TIGHT SPACE JUST TAKE YOUR TIME.

Remove the spark plugs and gap your new ones appropriately. The new plugs need to be torques down correctly so they sit right in the combustion chamber....30Nm.

Reverse this process...you are done.

The turbo intake silver pipe on the left side of the engine wont get in the way?

also, do you know the torque?

and what spark plugs would you recommend... something that i can get from autozone would be great.

Thanks

sucking sound on accel, turbo taking in air. blowing sound between gears, diverter valve venting unused boost back into the intake. It's normal.

As I stated in my post last post 30nm. Make sure you torque them right so they sit in teh combustion chamber correctly.
