i painted my stock 98 wheels a few months back, they look pretty good though they are darker then i origonaly pictured.
im thinking about how it would look if i reversed it and had white wheels with a black circle and black audi rings. that might go better
although they would be a b1tch to keep clean

i have my summer tires on now and like them alot better

pirate ..have to paint them I bought them with great rubber but they have a lot of imperfections and curb rash

I got some great tips from Sineo on painting but I was going to keep the center caps stock silver for sure

Kraut I like the all black ..but its a little too murdered out and I would be painting a gloss with clear coat

so out of the two which do you guys think??

just repaint them silver then, i like mine, and i had spots down to the metal, that is why i painted mine

when i did there wasn't really anyone on here with painted black s4 wheels

the day i finished, chaos put up a diy on painting his s4 wheels black

so i would go silver, gunmetal is cool, but looks like bad brake dust

I agree black on black has been done, but most of the ones i've seen are matte or look almost like primer or something. I think the gloss black would look cool, as long as it was very close to the tint of the paint on the car.I say gowith the second link you put up, the first one lookedkinda funky to me for some reason. I think the second one looks much cleaner.Give it hell!

I just painted mine a low-gloss black, and think it looks good from a distance. I am gonna get them powder coated at some point though. Anyway, one color I had considered was a bronze. Haven't seen many Euros with bronze wheels, that could be something different.

Yeah I think that would be cool too now that you mention it, like the older WRX wheels you mean?
