Big a** turbo project PICS!!!
 

Just thought i would show a couple of pics of the current project my friend is going through on his 03 1.8T, little asian dude has some cash to say the least. Its also getting an 034 motorsport stand alone engine management system. I just wanna know how he plans on passing california emmisions LOL.

OOoo!! u gunna keep us updated on this?? cause i deff. wanna see how this turns out. i put my motor in last week and its runnin great so im lookin into a BAT setup next spring.

Yeah i will, did you notice the AEB head? Basically there isn't anything stock left in the block, i believe he is $17,000 into the project right now. Its been down for 3 months now. Should be up and running in the next month or so, probably in the 500+ horsepower range.

Pretty sick, but imagine what $17K into an S4 would be like...

But we all get obsessed over something!

Well before he even started the engine he had already put in 10 grand on brakes, coilovers and cosmetic mods, the car looks damn sick. I'll get some pics of it sometime later. I think the idea is to blow away an S4 with an A4, he really does have enough money to buy an S4 on top of this too so i don't think he cares.
I think the turbo is a GT3071R which is rates somewhere in the 450 range, but with stuff going in that motor, i would expect to see a lot more than that.

see if you can get a price on a custom manifold like that too. please...:D

Oh a manifold like that would run around anywhere from $400-$800 depending on who's building it, its really not that hard to make.

LOL, that would be a Full-race manifoldJoJo bought from me along with the rest of the parts that are included in my "Full-race Package".


Those are pictures of his manifold before it was sent back to Full-race to get HPC coated. The turbo is a GT3071r.
