Default hey guys/girls.. question on new wheels..

im ordering B7 RS4 replicas in a week or so.. and from what it looks like the only things included are the 4 wheels and their centercaps.. and no lugs? im sure they would tell me if i asked but what im wondering is if i need different lugs for these wheels. they are 18x8.. or if regular lugs will work? this is the easiest way to get an answer on the weekend haha..

thanks in advance everyone

I'm running 18x8 LM Reps and i'm using standard lugs on mine. Granted, they're not the RS4 reps, but you should be fine. I would think once you start getting into the 18x8.5 range and beyond you would need new lugs.

Funny you should ask that. I just painted my center caps red today and a thought hit me to put my lug covers on and paint them red too.So i just put them back on tonight for the first time in years.

There are two types of lugs; ball seat, and conical seat. Ball seat is slightly rounded like ball. Conical seat has a straight edge like a cone. You need to get the right one for the wheels. If you get the wrong ones they will have very little contact area with the wheel, this means that over time they can loosen. But mostly deform the hole in wheel.

yea when i was looking like thru ECS tuning and stuff i saw all those.. i just wasnt sure if they needed to be changed. i guess when i call to order the wheels i will ask, and if they arent sure, ill call fast addiction, the local VW/Audi specialists and they will hook me up.. this was an easy weekend fix though to answer my question.. thanks again guys
