Default S8 water in floorboards and ducts

[align=left]I have an '01 S8 with what I believe has a clogged A/C drain line. I have water in my floorboards and I can hear water collecting in the a/c ducts in the dash and also in the rear ducts feeding the back seats. Water spills out on my feet when I make a hard right turn. I've read a couple posts for the same problem w/ A8's and from what I can gather the drain line can get clogged at the outlet point below the battery. The battery in the S8 is in the trunk and I think the battery in the A8 is under the hood on the passenger side up by the fire wall. Would my drain line be in the same spot? I believe there is a fuse box in that location in my car. Spoke with Audi service dept. in my home town and they told me to go in from the interior of the car to unclog the drain but everything I read on the net is to go in from the engine bay. What's the best method to get to the clog point? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Dave

below the wipers is a drain area ( called the scuttle panel just above the bulk head ) when leaves get in there they block the drain pipes and you get your problem

Do I have to remove the wipers to get to the clog?
Thanks,
