Default brake light flashing...

hey guys so as you might know ive been working alot on my car putting it back together. I got a V checker code reader thing from ECS and cleared all my codes. How ever i was unable to check and clear the brake codes. dont know why... anyways my ABS light and the BRAKE light are on. The ABS stays on while the BRAKE light flashes. I replaced all the brakes and rotors with the pads that have the sensors in them and went to start it up and its still on and flashing.

What do i have to do to get those lights to turn off?!?!

TIA

ABS light may be a bad control module or damaged wheel speed sensor. You may need VAGCOM to turn the lights off though - not sure if the Vchecker can do it.

never used them.. but from what i have read that when the ABS light stays onand BRAKE is blinking its your control module.. my ABS light is just solid on, no brake light.. im getting it checked out in the next few days so that i can get inspected.. gotta see what code it throws out. i wanna buy the Vchecker though, does it work well?? what lights and codes did you get to clear

Yeah the Vchecker works amazing!! i highly recommed it. I was able to clear all my codes but my brake ones. This is because it wont communicate with my control module for my brakes leading me to the conclusion that its my ABS module that went out. I was able to clear all my lights on the dash and even tell that Cyl 1 was missfiring... in the long run it saved my hundreds of dollars from going to the stealership to check codes. it was only like $80 from ECS

Fuse could just be blown, it gives the flashing brake light abs light combo.
