Default BOV (dont flame me!)

99.5 A4 1.8T FWD

My original Bosch diverter was leaking so I bought a cheap BOV off ebay. All seems fine apart from the sh*tty farting noise upon lifting the throttle. Today I installed a front mount Intercooler. I got a hose that fits to alloy pipe at one end andBOV at the other. After installing it all, I took car for a spin, now I dont here the Blow off valve "blowing" but instead hear my turbo fluttering.... Im gonna buy a Forge 007 Diverter only problem is, that silicon hose I got with kit has relocated my blow off valve to the top of the engine bay, where exactly does this air recirculate too? ( I have cold air intake so no air box) Also my vacuum hose looks very worn, could this be suspect?

Thanks
