Default r32 trade?

so i wanted to get some opinions from you guys what do you think about trading my 2002 a6 2.7t in for a 04 vw r32 with 59k. ive driven a couple of r32's and i just love the power and the handling of that little car. i dont really need the room of my a6 and gas mileage is killing me. so yea.... any thoughts on this?

I personally wouldn't go from a turbocharged engine to a NA engine, the 2.7 has way more potential. If you don't need the additional size from the A6, why not go to a B5 S4 instead of the R32?

You're prolly not going to get much better gas mileage with the R32, in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if you get the same mileage or worse from the 3.2. The 2.7 is pretty fuel efficient unless you're cramming on the gas getting into boost a lot.

Honestly i would sell the a6 if you dont need the extra space and just get a b5 s4. S4 is faster than the r32 stock and the S4 has WAY more potential for upgrades than the r32. PLus your asking on AUDI forums lol. But honestly most people would rather have an S4 than a R32 + im not a fan of hatchbacks. Personally i think their ugly.

Hope this helps.

yea the r32 wont really offer you much better mileage. if your looking for good millage, a hatchback, and you dont care about speed so much why not just pick up either an a3 or a4 avant with a 1.8t. both are hatchbacks, and both will get near 30 mpg highway. dont get me wrong i love the r32's but they just wont give you the mileage you want.

I agree with the A3, that would be a nice little hatchback, plus you still have some decent modability and way better gas mileage with the 1.8/2.0t

I haven't driven the A3, but I have driven the 1.8 passat and it wasn't bad at all. Good power, good throttle response, I'd say go test drive it and see what you think. It's not like the 2.7, but it's got a decent amount of power that's with no mods too

And a B5 S4 Avant for $30k? Was it like stage 999999 or something? That's pretty high for a B5, I take it it was Stage 3 with a lot of extras and low miles?

lol it was a stg with the ko4's and everything, rs4 body kit and suspension, but it had about 24k miles on it.

yea im not lookin for anything crazy fast b/c i have a 600rwhp supra in my garage. i want something fairly quick but nice becasue i have to drive about 30 miles to work everyday in traffic, definitely a 6spd and comfortable. ill have to look into the a3 and test drive one. or maybe a b6 a4 avant.

Why don't you show us pics, dyno sheets and other details about your "600rwhp Supra"?
Besides why do you come and post this on the S section when I clearly belongs in the A6 section? I'll tell you why....cuz you're a total douchebag. I called you out on the A6 forums because you said you had a 2003 A6 2.7t Stage II when in your sig pic you clearly had a pre-facelift 2.8. Nothing Stage 2 about it. Bone-stock. And then you decide to delete your post that you said "yeah that's mine but it had 19" RS6's on it" instead of clearifing or apologizing your stupidity and lame attempt to deceive your fellow AF'rs. And now you change it to a "2002 2.7t". What don't you get about not fronting a ride you don't have. You're pathetic. It really pushes my buttons when people try to lie and fail and keep trying over and over. You obviously have never driven an MT (manual transmission nOOb) in traffic if you're saying that you want something comfortable for your 30 mile one-way drive. Stick shift fu*ken blows in traffic. Especially 30 miles worth of it. Why do you have to come in the forums and waste these people's time? Are you that bored? It really pisses me off when these people are trying to answer your questions while you're talking your bullsh*t. So once again: quit talking sh*t out your ass and trying to get fellow forum members to believe you have vehicles you obviously don't. I've caught your bullsh*t and blatant lies twice now and you just pussy out rather than stand up for yourself. Quit wasting our times and jump off a roof you d*ckwad.
