S4 v. Trans Am LS1
 

My friend called my s4 Eurotrash. Im not thrilled, so i challenged him to a race. He has a Trans Am Ls1 with intake and exhaust done. My s4 is chipped. Anyone know what i have gotten myself into? Do i have a chance?

Update: The Trans Am is a LT1 F-Body, not an ls1 thank god, producing 275 hp (202 kW) and 325 ft·lbf (439 Nm) stock.

You should beat him I can beat a 67 gto with ram air pushs 360 I think and that was when I was stage 2+

I dont think you have anything to worry about. Racing from a stop or a roll? You have a manual or tip? I had the pleasure of smoking a 2001 Stang GT with my stock 01.5 S4. Now I have a GIAC chip and can't wait to smoke some more Mustangs and Camaros! And dont forget to definitely video tape it!

that guy is done, especially from a dig, i love how ignorant some people are with their cars, you have half the displacement and twice the doors, with my giac stg 1 i got a 4.7 to 60, i doubt hes comin close to 5.

I have a MT, he has auto. ill prob do 3rd gear roll and from stop. Ill even take a passenger to videotape it. The race is sat, so ill keep you all posted.

Dont really know why i was worried, guess its cause i dont know a lot about trans ams.

UPDATE: His trans am is an auto. HA. I think im gonna get him a vinyl sticker that says FAIL for his windshield, it'll look good in the footage.
