hey guys.
i live in chicago...andersonville neighborhood.

my car steers very, veryslightly to the right, not bad when cruising on highway. its only really annoying when taking off from a stop light that i can feel it pulling.i want to get a wheel alignment soon.

can anyone pleaserecommend a trusted mechanic that i can also build a relationship with for future tune-ups or oil change.

Fortunately I've never had to take my car in for anything besides getting chipped at GRD in Villa Park (which I'm going to again soon for my alignment) So I don't know about metro Chi. Maybe audiprotein knows. I've always done my own oil changes and mods. My dad does the bodywork.

For the alignment id say CPT in Melrose Park... But they are bit expensive... Otherwise loo kat mobileoneinc.com in Glenview. Also there is P&L motorsports in Franklin Park.
Also, there is one good shop in Downtown also called CAC

OP: if you just want oil changes and small repairs an independent mechanic is the way to go. Sometimes euro mech's price even higher for a straightforward general job example: an alternator is an alternator. On Ford's, Honda's and Audi's. Any mechanic can do it no prob but just because of his specialty the euro mech will charge more. Just some wise advice.
