i can;t remember when is aw this on the site but through tooling around with the vag-com device people have been able to use their key fobs to roll the windows up and have thier fog lights on while the auto switch for the lights is on as well, i was wondering if anyone had those specific codes to punch in the vag com for me?

I know you can roll the windows up by putting the key in the door and turning it.
The lights there is a switch to the right of the auto lights you just twist it and when you unlock the doors they turn on.
yeah i know about the key thing but if theres codes out there that all you have to do is press and hold the lock button while your in range of the car and it will do the same thing....
my issue is that i love the auto headlights, but you never get the fogs to go on unless you turn the light knob and pull it out....which is clearly too much work for me because i have grown quite lazy to the auto lights :-P i was wondering if anyone had the vag-code to reprogram the auto lights so that when the headlights go on the fogs go on as well

so you just stick the key in the lock on the door and turn it and the windows go up or down, or do you have to punch in some codes first?
No codes needed. If you turn the key to lock the door and hold it, the windows will go up. If you turn the key to unlock and hold it, the windows will go down.

I wish there was a way to roll the windows down and up with the key fob though.
In my 2007 Nissan Maxima, I could hold the unlock button for 5 seconds and all the windows would roll down. It was pretty nice. I guess it isn't that big of a deal to place the key in the slot and just turn it for a little bit.
thats what i'm talking about! i know about the putting the key in the car but you look like a dork doing that....theres a code that you hold the lock button on your key fob and it does the same thing....thats the code i'm looking for

ah, ya thats what i thought you were talking about to begin with, but for now just the key will work until you find those codes, and at that point i will need one of those vag-com things which i dont have no know anybody that has one right now so...
