Default CEL P0300 HELP!!!!

Well I was out crusin yesterday and got on it from about 45mph and I got a sudden flashing CEL light... Lost power at WOT and backed offand the light went away. Flashed it and it came back with a multiple misfire code so I pulled the recently changed plugs thinking that they were wrong and they weren't... Re-installed them and went out and it did it again. I am lost,,,, the car has 52000 miles on it -01 avant- and I'm thinking it might be the coil packs. I plan on changing the fuel filter this week just in case... Please help. Thanks

Default RE: CEL P0300 HELP!!!!

most common cause is the plug lead going to the plug ( that big rubber thing that connects to the plug ) it arcs out and at night you should be able to see/hear it or one of the wires to the plugs is shorting out which is the same as arcing ( no big deal as its a common code so nothing wrong with the motor )

Well I have found the plug lead and the coil packs... Now the only question that I have is which one to get???? I guess I will drop the 350 on the coil packs to knock everything out at once. Thanks again Techbod.
