I strongly suggest you buy HID housings (US or E-codes). If you must keep your halogen housings, just buy a kit and the install is simple. If you were in Jersey, I'd help you out.

Why do you suggest upgrading the housings? I have an 03' with vvme HID's and they work fine. If you have an 05 - I'm sure a kit will look great; I wouldn't suggest buying new housings.

I was checking out their website(vvme) and I was wondering... What do I do with the ballast? i understand that everything is plug and play but, do I have to mount the ballast somewhere? Is there a place for it in the headlight or do I have make something to mount it. What did you guys do? Thanks

I was thinking about getting the VVME kit for my fogs.Do you think I'll have moisture issues with them being obviously much lower to the ground than the headlights?

The process is pretty self explanatory. You will need to drill a hole through the headlight housing case to fit the HID wiring through, other than that you're set.

As far as the ballast mounting, I used zip ties. They've worked extremely well - all you need to do is find a good place to mount them. It's not difficult, you can figure it out once you're in the process.

I'm fairly certain someone uploaded some pics of this process. I'll take a look around and see if I can find it.
