k, so, you getting smoke coming from underneath the hood? or coming out of the exhaust?

Blue smoke is usually oil, let me ask the first obvious question. Check the dipstick, is your engine oil overfilled?

wow thanks that would have been the last thing that i would have checked..it isvery full like it might be a quart or almost a quart over full and i know that is not good at all...so the piston rods are picking up the oil or it is just being picked up and is saturating the bottom part of the cylinder constantly causing the oil to be burt.....am i right....

Yeah it's probably that. Drain the oil out a bit and see what that does... also you said the smoke was whitish. White smoke is coolant. Possibly a blown head gasket there IF the smoke is white!

*smack* +1 josh, yeah but back to the post, now dont worry about white smoke in teh morning if it is cold out side that is jsut the air condensing cause of the car, but if you have white smoke at idle all the time or driving then you have a problem.

No prob man. You'll definitely want to get that excess oil drained out asap, you run the risk of ruining your cats otherwise. Hope that fixes your problem
