Default Headlight question

found these in the garage. wanted to know if they'll fit my 99.5 1.8T??? Do I just simply replace them or is there something that I don't know about.

they're 4000k 9004 12v 65/45w....
my dad had them on his Mercedes awhile back, took 'em off when he sold the gas guzzler...

my 01 takes H7 bulbs. guessing yours does too. you have 9004s there. totally different connection.

thanks man, I'm not really good with lights or pretty much things electric so i figured I'd ask the experts.
There goes that.
Any ideas on cheap bulbs that are in that temp range? I don't want to go HID yet, but want a little better than stock. like the ones in the pic, but obviously ones that fit my car....

get Sylvania Silverstars in H7 size. They're the best you can get w/o going full H.I.D.

They're going to cost about $40 anywhere you go. You could probably just pick them up at autozone so you dont have to pay and wait for shipping

yeah dude. i have those in my lights. highs, lows, and foglights (all H7). way cheaper than HID (not nearly the same though) and pretty bright.
