Default Audi Extended Warranty

The Audi factory warranty of fours years or fifty thousand miles on my 2005 Audi A4 1.8 Avant wagon ends in May 2009.

Therefore, I'm thinking about buying an extended warranty policy and wondered what other Audi owners thought about extended warranties.

And, if in favor, know of a good policy to buy.

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, cant help u with the policies.
But my IMHO. If u plan on modding your car, and your Dealer is not MOD friendly then skip it. If u keep your car stock enginewise (chip is cool) then maybe u should get one. Cause u never know whats gonna brake. Also, u can think why shouldu pay for example 2k's for it if u can keep the money and then spend 'em if something brakes. I say dont do it, thats me only, i cant keep the money.

I got one and had to replace my front axle seals, saved $300 bucks. A/c replacement is $2k with parts and labor so if something big breaks you are screwed.

Make sure they pay for audi work hours and not for standard published rates. Go through the literature with a fine tooth combed so you don't get screwed on the back end.

I am in favor of a warranty, but you should know what to look for... read the articles at WarrantiesGoneWild.com
