Default Opinions (Boostgauge pics)

Installed a new boostgauge last night. I´m planning on painting the silverframe mattblack then it should blen in really nicelly.
At the moment you can´t really se the top of thenumbers from the driving position but after some adjustement that should be fine.
What do you guys think?

Whitesnake playing =)

I think that's a bad place to put a gauge that you might be looking at while under acceleration.

I concur, that is a pretty difficult place to just glance at. I would at least have put it in place of the 2 blank buttons above your cd reciever if originality was the goal.

At first I did have it installed in the place of the two blank buttons but I didn´t like that, it looked strange with a round gauge there.
Yes it is quite a difficult place to glance at but I still prefere this one. Looks more likestock.
It´s about at the same place that the gauges where on my old Audi Coupe V6.
The main reason why I put it there is because the ashtray was broken so you had to pry it open with a screwdriver and I didn´t want the gauge right in my face.

I agree with other comments. Nice job on the install, but you won't be able to see it when you need it. I was thinking about the same place, but now that I've seen it there, I'll be placing mine elsewhere.

If you didn't want it to be in your face, a vent-mounted gauge in the center pod probably would've been sufficient. That's how I did mine, and I only notice it when I physically turn my head away from the road. This is what I did, and it looks pretty stock IMO.
