Default Problems with 2004 A6 SLine starting

After work I am heading home to find out why I couldn't take myself to work this morning. My audi has never had any problems and then this morning it just turned and turned and wouldn't kick over. Does anyone have any suggestions?? I chatted with the dealership and I told them it had plenty of gas, plenty of battery and it acted as if it wasn't getting spark. Any suggestions would help......Thanks.

Agreed and if it is a 04 it should be the 4.2 motor right? I think you can check your fuel rail to make sure there is fuel there, then i would go into the plugs and plug wires.

Also if you kow it is getting fuel you can pop off one of the plug wires and stick ascrewdriver in the end of the plug wire hold it close to something metal and see if it sparks good way to tell you still have spark.
