I just got confirmation from my dealer that my 2009 A5 is on the boat will be arriving in port (in my home city) on July 22nd (yay), however, I cannot believe they still do not have any pricing for the car yet. Anybody heard anything about how much the base and options will go up over 2008? 5%? Any historical data from previous audi owners?

a smart customer of mine bought a A5 from me that is on the way but because we didnt have pricing for he it said he would buy it only if we agreed to sell it to him at the 2008 prices.. and my mgrs did it. It will be here mid aug.

I do have some degree of pricing guarantee on the base price, but not the options since they have changed a little. Now my biggest fear is that the car will arrive next week with no pricing, and it will get stuck in port. My dealer told me that there are 3 2009 A5's sitting at the port of Houston unable to clear customs because there is no designated MSRP for the cars. If I was the owner of those 3 I would be really PO'd at Audi. Hopefully it will all get worked out by next week when mine shows up.
