RE: air intakes
Custom. Dry-flow filter with a flowstack assembly, and a U-pipe if you want. $130 right there, $100 if you scatch out the U-pipe.

RE: air intakes
I agree, make a DIY setup. I have a K&N intake and made my heatshield out of stuff from homedepot. Make a good heatshield.

i have a question in this topic. for a mass air flow sensor adapter, what would you need to get for a new intake?

RE: air intakes
Not sure what you mean by that. Can you rephrase?

RE: air intakes
the sensor is mounted on the stock airbox, and for my car to be able to start with a new intake, the mass air flow sensor needs to be connected, so where can i get a adapter to connect it, or does the new intake have one on it. my friend showed me his cold air on his Mazda 6, and the mass airflow sensor is built into the injen intake

RE: air intakes
I think you are talking about the ignition control module. The bosch thingy in your pic is the ICM. the MAF is a tube inside your air box.
