I meant to ask this but i remember last year i put a coat of wax on the a4 and brought it to the dealership soon after and the one tech there mentioned something about there being a lifelong wax on a4s so there was no need for me to wax it.. what?! lol

Oh yeah, that stuff is great!! I bought some from Tony Little for my other cars and it's truly amazing.

Exactly my reaction when I first heard it. When I was talking to the business manager about the financing on my CPO, he mentioned the product "ResistAll" and claims that it's the lifetime wax or protectant. This might be the one the tech told you about.
