Default replacing downpipe = worst job ever

2000 1.8TQM. my flex pipe broke and holy shit between last night and tonight i spent over 8 hours replacing the downpipe. talk about absolutely no room to work... even if the bolts werent rusted to shit, theres no way i could have ever gotten to them. i ended up ripping out the air box and removing the catalytic converter and downpipe as one piece and then cutting the downpipe bolts off. i also bolted the new downpipe to the catalytic converter and installed it as one piece too, which made dealing with the rear o2 a pain in the ass.

edit: for some reason this website hates me and i cant post the rest of what i wanted to say

I think there's a certain character limit for some reason. You can't make long ass posts, otherwise it'll give you an "LOL DOWN" page.

simple job if you have a hydro ( trolley jack ) lift and don't forget you can buy the expansion joint as a clamp in which save the replacement of the cat
