I'm looking into buying an RS4 in the future, and I found this one on Autotrader at an exquisite price of $23,000. It has 10,000 miles on it, which is a lot for the typical RS4 I think, but does anyone suspect something has gone wrong with the engine and this guy is trying to boot it out ASAP? I'm thinking about driving down for a test drive myself once he gets back to me, but I was curious as to what you guys thought of this.
Sorry, what I really meant to ask was do you guys think it's safe buying a RS4 with that mileage? It's almost irresitable noting the incredible amount of money I'd save as opposed to a brand new one, but yeah. It seems that RS4's depreciate immensely once they hit the 3,000 to 5,000 mark. I'm just curious as to if there's anything I need to watch out for?

There has to be something wrong with the car. I have a B7 08 RS4 with 8,000 miles on it and it would most likely go for 55-60K wih a retail of 71K brand new. A B7 07 RS4 with 10K miles on it should go for atleast 46 to 50K(roughly) not $23,000......Unless you're talking about a B5 RS4, then my next question would be who imported it and how did it get through customs.
+1 Scam, I almost got sucked into an RS6 with 20,000 miles on it for $25000. Sounded good at the time! If they mention anything about going through ebay and them needing your name and email its a scam. []
I'm also looking into buying a used RS4, and after browsing autotrader it seems that there are a number of B7 RS4s for sale under $30,000. Do you guys think these are all scams? The are suspiciously low compared to KBB
