RE: Just got my first A4 looking into upgrading soon!!!
Welcome to the forum.
As others have noted, not much in the HP department for the 2.8's, and especially the 97 with the 12v motor. Stick with improvements to handling, brakes, cosmetics, and comfort and you will be happy with the results and money you have spent. Also, take comfort in the fact that your car has so little mileage, which is a big plus. Things start to go around 100k which cost some money, so start to save up. Remember to change the timing belt at 75K or less. If you get the bug to find more horsepower, sell the car and get a 99.5 or newer 1.8TQ with a manual trans...easy to up the ante with that combo.
Cheers,
Steve
