Default tiptronic

i have a tiptronic if i went up against the same car 5 speed would i lose anything against it?

Yeah. He can launch. You can't. And stock if he is a decent driver, can shift a lot faster. Plus his tranny is lighter.

I've driven quite a few tiptronic's and always hated that they took almost 1000 rpm's to shift to the next gear. It's not just the Audi's either most of the Mercede's or BMW's I have driven do this too. Nothing beets the feel of a manual you can launch better and shift faster.

Except DSG... but manual clutches are more fun.
