Default Vortech Centrifugal For The 2.8L V6

Is there any reason why something like a Vortech Centrifugal Supercharger cant be used on the 2.8L 30V V6? Just wondering if it can be used as a PES replacment. Of course there would be some kind of custom work reguarding mounting and such. Comments, Questions, Concerns, Ect..

tuning may be a problem if you get one of the more powerful ones. it looks like a great alternative for the PES G2. plus with the airbox out, you can easily mount it in its place with no problem

See i think space would be the biggest problem because the blower would have to be in-line with the belt, just like a Roots style is. Tuning i think would be alot like the PES kit. Deff not as complicated as a turbo.

If you can mount it, then its possible. However making a mount for it to get power from the belt is however the hard part.

Some real trimming may be in store to get that sucker in there....and i have been looking at the power curves and personalities of both the PES and a standard Vortech and its confusing the hell outta me witch one would be better suited for street racing...and not to piss any of you off but....take out some of my turbo buddies.

by turbo buddies do you mean BAT buddies or just k04 size? lol. it might work if you move the SAP and mount it there. the alternator is right there and all you would need to do is another tensioner to keep the belt on the alternator. what's that .5L wiper tank thingy in your list?
