Default Chip with 137,000 miles?

I hope this hasnt been asked (i did see threads with 80,000 miles and stuff but,) im wondering if 137,000 miles is too much for a chip any thoughts?

You need to look at it in terms of your needs. If you are planning on keeping the car until you run it into the ground, and you want the chip, I would say go for it. If you are going to ditch it as soon as something major brakes down then it probably wouldnt be worth the investment. A4's can go upwards of 200k though...the one I just sold to my buddy had 170,xxx on the clock and its still running strong

137K isn't a big deal. There are people on these forums that run BT's and elims with much more mileage on the orginal engine. Most also have a spare block in the wings, but they're stressing the engine much more than you will be. I myself am about to throw a gt28rs on a 106,000 mile block and I wouldn't give it a second thought it being a high mileage engine.

Yeah i dont think ill be ditching it when something big goes wrong.. so i guess ill go for it.. Thanks for the replys.
