Default Newb OEM HID headlight question

Hi.

Just wanting to confirm on headlights.

My B6 now has halogen headlamp assemblies. I'm getting an OEM HID headlamp assembly and I think, or hoping it's simple plug-and-play.

Now for my question: If it's an OEM HID headlamp assembly, does that mean it's auto adjust, ie with the motor or can I just simply switch my stockers with the HID assembly and re-aim if needed, manually, that is.

Thanks

Default RE: Newb OEM HID headlight question

it should be plug and play i did the exact same thing to my 99 a6 .. i bought two 04 headlights from a a6 and they were just plug and play... the auto leveling doesnt work cause my cars not equipped with it but the Bi-xenon part works great. but i can still adjust mine with out the autoleveling.. yours should just be the same way.. no doubt about it.

thanks! that's what i was hoping to hear. i'm pretty sure the auto-levelling won't work as my B6 isn't wired for it. just so long as it's not plug-and-pray

i'll post my install once the lights are in. yippeeee, my first mod soon
