Check Owners Manual...

Usually, you would have to go to the dealer (a Audi dealer) and give them your VIN, serial # of the stereo and they should be able to give you the unlock code.  I had a power failure (battery replacement) and the dealer gave me the code after verifying the info... almost in no time.

Take it to the dealer, they can reset it.  It occurs when the power source is disconnected for security reasons

disconnect the batterie i think that should work

how will disconnecting the battery do anything?  the code should be in your manuel or in the spare tire well of your trunk.

Disconnecting the battery will set it to SAFE mode.

Push the FM2 and RBDS radio buttons simultaneously for a few seconds. 4 zeros will display where SAFE is written. Use the radio preset buttons to set the code (the guy said he has the code).

PS ... if he doesn't .. then its like the guy said with the VIN and serial #. Any dealer can give you the Safe Code.
