1990 audi v8 stall and not restart ?
Ok, I have a 1990 audi v8 99k mileswith a problem the car had a alternatior go out on it about 10 months ago and insted of fixing it I just let it sit in the driveway till last week when i sent it out and had that problem fixed. I went and pick the car up this afternoon and it started right up I drove about 14 miles and it died ? after about 15 mins it started right back up and drove another 2 miles and died again, this time in trafic so Iwaited about 5 mins or so and again it fired up sounded great and i went to BP filled the tank with 93 oct and it would not start on the first try so i let it sit 2 mins and it fired right up. I then drove the car back to my house and park it after about 2 hours I went out and nothing wont start . jump inmy jeep went got food and returned try again and first shot it fires right up so i figure what the heck it just needs to be run so i go for a drive and yet agin it dies this time it refused to restart till the tow truck shows up and now it's on it's way back to the shop . but I have no idia what to tell them to look at on it ? I'm thinking fuel pump ? does this sound right to you guys ? this is the first problem other then the starter and alternatior I have ever had with the car in 10 + years
any help would be great

So are you still aving problems?
I had some of the same problems with my 86 CS turbo Wagon, it would start then after a few min.s of running it would stop. I replaced the fuel filter, then it came out that I needed a fuel pump running too low on fuel the fuel pump starteto heat up and then would seize once you stop the car.
I would recomend to check the fuel filter because things have a habit of settling in the bottom then once you start driving the vehicle again all of the sediment goes into the filter.
