1994 Audi 90 Quattro

I'm considering this Audi and would like to get some feedback from you guys. This is what was in the ad

"Audi 90Q '94 AWD, loaded, runs great, 5 speed, snows & summers, 151k, $4200/best"

The vin checked out fine on carfax. 2 owners. Do you think it is worth it? How long do they usually last (mileage)? Common Problems?

Also I would like you to tell me how much I should make an offer to this guy if you think it is worth it.

Thanks.

RE: 1994 Audi 90 Quattro

Audi's hold up reasonably well, but require quite a bit of maintenance especially given the age and mileage. If you can’t do most of the repairs yourself then I don’t recommend buying any car with more than 100K as quite often small little things creep up and taking it to a mechanic is going to cost you. If the car has been well maintained and some common items (radiator, distributor, struts, shocks, clutch, timing belt, water pump, ball joints, exhaust, head gasket, valve seals, climate control, etc.) have been changed then it might be a good buy. If not you can pretty much expect to be doing them yourself.
