1995 90 2.8L 5spd No Spark
Let me get right into the thick of this.
I have no single (pulse) coming out of the ICM (Ignition Control Module) while cranking. Test light lights up on output side while not cranking. (Bright light) I do have dim single (constant ON, not pulsing) on the input side while not cranking. ** Should the test light blink on the input side of ICM while cranking? Replaced crank sensor (new) Have tried 4 different ICMs (used) Car will start sometimes. Usually only if hooked up to a charger set for 55amp/start boost. Sometimes will start with using jumper cables. Brand new battery (1 bosch 1 interstate) tried both same results. But still no spark. Car seems to crank a bit slow unless hooked up to charger 55amp/boost. But still no spark. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance, Steve <EDIT> I tested the wiring for the HALL sensor key on engine off Results: brn/blk = 12v (supposed to be 12v) vio = 5.02v (supposed to be 5v) red/blk = 12v (supposed to be 12v) </EDIT> |
