A/C problem, '95 Cab

I'm getting noticeably warmer air coming out of the driver and passenger side outlets. Cold air from the center outlets. Started cold car from a cool garage, got cold air from all outlets, then after a couple of minutesdriver and passanger started warming up. Suspect a duct issue and heater core dumping hot air into the chamber.Short of tearing into it, I can't tell how the heater box closes off andmy Bentleys is not very helpful. The attached diagram of the ducting makeme suspicious because of the division at the arrow. I hope someone who has worked in this areacan save me some effort in this diagnosis. Thanks.

The heater core is closed off by a plastic plate. goes through the AC then to the box, then ether through the heater core, or past it. maybe it doesnt close all the way.

Basic bowden cable operated. I'm thinking the foam around the heater box door is not making good contact near the part of the duct that ports air to the driver and passenger side vents and hence leaking hot air into the ducting. Maybe it's warped. I'm trying to figure a way to get a cheap, small video device down the center duct so that I don't have to take out the dash to inspect it. Of course, I'll probably have to do that anyway to fix it.

try tugging at the cable ends .... see if all the flap cables are anchored where they sould be and such ... could be a poopy cable
