Default liftin' the 'ol 4K

Hey, this is Casey and yea...newbie to the forum. I've got a question. How high can you lift an '87 4k? It seems like there's a lot of suspension slack, but I want to be informed before I go ahead with the master plan. No reason for lifting it really, just fun - the car was $125 not to mention I found a $5 winning loto ticket in it

So I'm just looking for some input/advice. I'm not looking for performance gain, just more fun with my audi. Perhaps i'll put some larger tires, but not too big, I don't want it to look stupid. Thanks for any comments, lata

Sagging springs? There are few things that you can do. One is to put in new high pressure gas shocks this alone can give you ¼" to ½" lift. Rubber spacers, I know they exist but don't really know the source for them. There are also adjustable coil over springs, they are available for VW's you would need to do some research to see if they would work with Audi. Last option is to put in new springs or you might want to check out a local suspension place, I have heard where the springs could be reformed or stretched to remove the sag. Least expensive option would probably be the rubber spacers.
