air intake and chip???

Default air intake and chip???

curious what the best bang for the buck is and whats been proven through real world use...
i have an 01 allraod 2.7t with tip... i am looking for a good cold air intake and a chip that wont break the bank... any suggestions?

Well seeing as the engine is turbo charged, a CAI will do you little/no good since the turbos will be heating the air up anyway.

As far as chips go, APR is probably #1, but it's $600. Big increase in power though for that money.

i am getting the apr tune..
i am not looking for a cooler air charge as i understand the huge amount of heat generated by the turbos.. i am looking for a cleaner, more direct airflow.. k&n has a drop in element but i wanted to see if anyone was making a open element filter kit..
