I have a 2001 allroad with 111000 miles. During acceleration in pretty low speeds it will once Ina while just stop accelerating. I'll press down on the gas and the acceleration is back to normal.

I haven't noticed this at high speeds at all. Any ideas?

 

Mine has a similar sounding problem sometimes, just a guess is throttle position sensor getting wonky.
