Struts are fine, one of the air shocks has small leak, stays up while driving with no light but loses air overnight. Parts are from a 2004 allroad 2.7t with 65K miles. I believe parts fit model years 2001-2005.

Leaking air strut will soon lead to complete airbag failure; one two-inch pothole, will blow a gaping hole in the air bladder. I made that mistake twice, by buying used OEM Audi airbags. One had almost zero gas shock dampening/rebound and every small dip, road dot and chipseal junction sent teeth-jarring impacts throughout the car....traveling on the freeway SUCKED. One day - that 2" pothole over-compressed the bladder and blew it out, with a huge BANG!

Do us a favor and junk those things....please. It's either Arnott Gen1/2 or none.

 

Yes please junk. I was travelling at a well, nice pace when I hit that 2 inch pothole on the 405 one late evening.

I was lucky and had an Arnott back home in the garage - threw it on the next day. Its and "air" spring - wont last forever - can it.
