Radio reception
Recently acquired a one owner 2005 Allroad, 2.7T auto in pristine condition and only 77,000 miles with all maintenance including timing chain and water pump at 75,000 miles.
Problem I am having is with am/fm radio reception. The prior owner replaced the sound system with a performance Kenwood sirius / nav system adding an additional amp plus a kicker. On sirius or CD sound is awesome, but radio is limited to just a couple FM stations that fade. I have pulled the radio and antenna connection is good. Sirius and Nav a great.
Bentley says the am/fm antennas are in the real windows and connection are good.
The local car audio shops all want to just put in in an amplified underdash am/fm antenna as sourcing the antenna reception problem is very difficult.
Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?
Thank you
