Default snow wheels

Hi,
I would like to get some 16" Audi wheels for snow tires for the upcoming winter and don't know which will fit my "01 allroad.
Can anyone suggest what will work?
Also would like a full, bra for those long road trips, but can't seem to find one. Any ideas?
Thanks, Jacquot

AR's have very large calipers and the fit is very tight. What might fit for one year and engine size may not fit for another. Tirerack seems to know what will fit, if you enter the year and model on their web site. I got my winter wheels from them and was pleased. Shop early if you want to get snows. I wanted Blizzaks and found that due to factory fires in Japan, the supply was short. Local tire dealers couldn't get them.

also, others have noted that he 17" OEM twin/double spoke rims for the allroad tend to get snow stuck between the spokes....which can throw off the balance of the rim. In my opinion, the fewer the spokes...the better.

yes, check tirerack.com for winter rim/tire packages. You can't go wrong with winter tires and quattro......even if you drive in the winter and it doesn't snow that much. All season tires absolutely suck in the winter/snow.

See my links below for my winter tire upgrade, thougths etc.

Good luck!
