Will a generic VAG COM Cable help figure out Air suspension issues?

it will read error codes ok if the error light is on

if it is sinking it will not tell you this.

what are the issues?

Well I looked further into the problem I got the car like this so had no idea what has been done.

They unplugged most of the air hoses. The suspension scan comes back: No response from the controller.

The car is slammed in the front and pretty low in the back.

Is the error light on? If the air hoses were undone is the controller ecu plugged in? You need a response from the controller 1st, it may be bust but check its plugged in and check ecu fuses.

Ecu is in the boot on lh side kind of above rear wheel arch
