Hey guys for sale is a set of heads out of my garage. The heads came from an 2001 A4 2.8L that was involved in a side impact accident. The engine code is ATQ(Later build date). They have roughly 95k. They are in excellent condition and no bent valves. It would make a great addition to a big turbo build since 2.8L heads have larger intake ports. I'm willing to ship at buyers expense. At a machine shop they generally don't take off but a few thousandths of an inch. If your valves were hitting the top of the piston you would know it. If you didn't prime the motor before you started it, you could have burned up a cam bearing.
