Well, spring cleaning over here in NY has begun and I'm kicking things off by selling a 2.7L DOHC long block out of a 2000 S4 (6spd). It consists of the short block + complete heads. No manifolds or turbos, but that's a good thing since most people will want to upgrade those anyway. It has 87K miles and is in excellent condition. I have a clean Carfax report for the vin# on this engine.

I'm asking $2100 and prefer a local sale. The engine is located about 60 miles north of NYC.

Yes, the engine will swap into a 99 A4 since they're both B5s, but you will need a lot more than just the long block I'm selling: you'll also need the wiring harness, sub frame, ECU, etc. It's definitely a project!

I strongly recommend you to take your A4 somewhere else, as $3K for a head gasket is highway robbery. Let me know where your from, as I know a lot of people who are into these cars. I might be able to recommend you a shop that knows Audis and does good work at a very good price.
